How I got here
From how life looks
to how it feels.
I trained in psychology in South Africa and completed postgraduate clinical work in Portugal. Before moving into psychotherapy full time in 2015, I worked in search and digital strategy.
That earlier career sharpened my interest in performance: what people show to the world, what stays out of view, and the distance that can develop between the two. My clinical work is concerned with the person living in that distance.
I work with gay men around shame, identity, relationships, body image, anxiety and the private cost of appearing fine. I bring psychodynamic, attachment-based and relational perspectives to that work, informed by minority stress.
I am based between London and Lisbon, and work online in English across multiple time zones.
