Online Advertising in Europe
According to IAB Internet Advertising Bureau, online ad spending for Europe from 2006 to 2007 grew by 55.2%. That’s a growth of 7 Billion Euros to 11 Billion Euros within a year! These figures are way above the U.S. comparison, which sits at only 25.6% growth.
The countries that top the list for ad spending per user includes (with % share of online ad spend of all advertising budget in brackets):
- Norway (15.6%)
- UK (15.3%)
- Denmark (14.3%)
- Sweden (13.3%)
- Germany 11.6%)
- Netherlands (18.5%)
- Belgium (9.1%)
- Finland (7.5%)
- France (8.8%)
- Austria (5.2%)
- Italy (6.7%)
